Time Out Chicago has a great article on how to display your collections, whether it’s toys, comics, or action figures.
You’ve been spending a lot of time on eBay looking for a mint-condition Boba Fett, your mom just sent you a crate of Transformers and you’re running a four-digit tab at designer toy boutique Rotofugi. We know how it is.

A lot of people are snapping up copies of the Dark Knight movie posters with Heath Ledger as the Joker, but my money will be going towards this awesome one-sheet, showing Bat-Man in front of a burning bat symbol. I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these and see it in the home theater’s back lit frame.

Iron Man made his comic book debut in Tales of Suspense #39 in 1963 (check out the amazing Jack Kirby cover). In 1968, he got his own comic, “The Invincible Iron Man.”About 20 years ago, I was thumbing through the bargain bin at my favorite comic shop because I was, well, broke. I stumbled upon a copy of the first issue of Iron Man for just a dollar. I was thrilled until I got home and flipped through the pages and saw that some bonehead had cut out an ad for x-ray glasses or some other piece of crap. I still have the comic, even though most of my other comics have found their way to eBay over the years. With the new movie coming out in May, I might just put it up for sale. What’s the markdown in value for a missing ad hat doesn’t affect the story? I guess I’ll find out. Anyone want a cheap copy of a great comic?

Halo 3 is being released in a few short hours for the xBox 360. Halo is the Star Wars of this generation, so the toys that have been released in conjunction are possibly the hot collectibles of tomorrow.
The Halo ActionClix CMG brings the incredible content of the Halo universe to the tabletop via the award-winning Clix miniatures game engine. Players are able to replicate the exciting multiplayer action from all three Halo games using high-quality, prepainted plastic miniatures of Halo characters (such as Master Chief™ and the Flood) and vehicles (such as the Warthog and Banshee). Each unit has a unique combat dial that lists the unit’s constantly evolving stats and a character card that list specific abilities of that piece. Using different “move and shoot” capabilities, players move their units and vie for the perfect shot.

Kojak in a bobsled, need I say more. This has always been my favorite Bond movie. This poster would look great on the wall of my future home theater, but then I wouldn’t be able to afford much of a theater. Cinema Masterpieces is one of my favorite suppliers of movie posters. Check out their incredible selection.

This has got to be one of the largest collections of action figures ever amassed. This guy has over 20,000 action figures, ranging from G.I. Joe to Transformers, and of course, a few Star Wars figures. Amazing.
