I’ve been running this leaky ship of a website for over ten years, and in that time, I never got around to posting a “want” list — until now!
These plush Batman dolls have been my obsession for the last few years, and I’ve managed to gather a few, but I feel like it’s my personal duty to save these dolls from the musty attics and basements where they have been stashed for the last 50 years. These dolls were produced by Commonwealth toys in 1966 and there are at least seven variations that I know of so far. There is even a Batman baby doll which would give anyone nightmares.
In addition to the Batman dolls, there is an even more elusive Robin doll and a Superman doll — neither of which I have been able to find yet. So, here’s my plea, fellow flea market finders and yard sale pickers–if you come across one of these dolls, shoot me an email or contact me through Facebook or Instagram. And of course, I am always open to trades (I have some pretty good stuff!)
