Now here’s something you don’t see everyday. In fact, I’ve never seen another one. This fun target set was produced by Knickerbocker Toys in 1959 and features Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Mr. Jinks, Pixie and Dixie.
The tin litho target is in pristine condition and looks like it has never been played with. The plastic characters spin freely on the metal rod and don’t have any broken bits or cracks. This thing is a stunner!
As much as I like it, I’ve decided that this game needs to find its way into someone’s Hanna Babera collection. I love it, but it sticks out like a sore thumb in my collection of vintage super hero toys. Unfortunately, I don’t really have a price in mind, because I’ve never seen another one for sale.
The guns and darts are missing and the cellophane is torn. The box has some wear and a tear or two, but it displays very well. It’s so large, it really stands out on the shelf!
Ah, the good old days, when shooting guns was fun for the entire family.
If you’d like to add this awesome target game to your collection, make me an offer — bonus points will be awarded if you show me that your Hanna-Barbera collection is the one to rule them all!
