What’s on tonight? How about a cool collection of vintage Halloween items?
I don’t have many Halloween items in my collection, so I have to make the most of what I’ve got.
I’ve been a big fan of Dinosaur Dracula’s annual Halloween mood tables and finally got around to making one of my own. Halloween is such an amazing time of year, when we all feel like a kid again. While I might not go all out on decorating the house, I figured I could handle a small display shelf.
I don’t go out of my way to find Halloween collectibles, so most of these items found their way into my collection for other reasons. There are Mexican lobby cards, King Kong toys, 8mm and VHS movies, monster magazines, jigglers, and more! The Halloween Assortment box was something that hit all the right feels when I saw it. The graphics on it represent an entire generation of design, and the graphic designer in me just had to have it. For me, this is the kind of item that someone could build an entire collection around.
