Last week’s results for the League of Extraordinary Bloggers was another big success. We’ve had 21 blogs contribute to both of the first two topics, and I’m curious to see how we do this week with an assignment that is a bit more challenging. Here goes…
——
The 80’s and 90’s were filled with kids and teens in the movies. Which movie would you like to see a sequel made in 2012 with the original cast members, who have aged the same as you and me.

Once you put up a post on your site add a comment below with the URL. Next Monday, I will put up a post here on Cool & Collected with a list of all the contributing blogs. Once that list is posted, try to incorporate at least three of those links (but more would be great!) into the article you wrote on your site.
By cross-posting like this, we will help each other out by sending new readers to each other’s sites. Have fun!
(Wondering what the heck this is all about? We’re recruiting for this loose-knit, rag tag crew! Here are the details for joining The League.)
Another excellent one Brian i must give it some thought.
Hmmm, that is going to be tough. Going to have to mull that one over for a bit…
Yep, this week’s topic is going to be a challenge. There are plenty of movies to consider, but then you have to consider how the stars have aged too (assuming they’re still alive!).
Mine will be up tomorrow morning…
Or maybe now. Whoops.

Oh yeah, I wanted to go with Goonies but three times is a bit much so I went with “Labyrinth”!

Man, Chris you are quick! Three week’s in a row and you are the first to chime in. Another excellent choice!
A Gutless Turd of a Sequel (Do I Stutter!?)

I have a very strong suspicion that you won’t be the only one covering this movie [cough] me [cough]. Great minds obviously think alike. 😉
“Stay Gold, Pony Boy!!” 🙂
The Outsiders would certainly be a good candidate for this week’s topic? Will you be taking it on???
Nah…just loved that Macchio link that TL had above… 🙂
I love the reaction that both Ralph and his son have to that line!
Tough, tough subject. So many movies to choose from.
Here’s my contribution!

Am I the only one on the planet who enjoyed the fourth movie?
Yes. Yes, you are.
Almost sat out this week but made it. Like Chris Tupa, I also went Down in the Underground…

I’ve always been a fan of Jennifer Connelly. Surprised she hasn’t done all that many more movies. it would be fun to see her in a sequel to this movie.
I better put my own in here!

I would have to go with ‘Lost Boys’. I think it was the last time I saw Keifer smile.
Whew! Here’s mine! Didn’t think I’d make it, but finished it in one sitting.

Sorry I couldn’t make it last week, having sick twins definitely jeopardizes your time.
