Don’t touch that dial!
What shows and/or movies always make you put down the remote when you’re flipping through the channels?

Once you put up a post on your site, add a comment below with the URL so everyone knows where to find it. Remember to include links to your fellow League members in your article, along with a League logo and link, so other bloggers can learn how to join in the fun.

Blog karma is a good thing — by cross-posting like this, we will help send each other new readers, and receive a few in return. If you would like to join the League, all you need is a love of pop culture and a blog. Come join the fun, and tell your friends!

The Hunt For Red October always gets me to stop and look . I will even sit through commercials to watch that movie. I feel the same way about the first Resident Evil movie as well. Mila in that red dress kicking the crap out of the zombie dog is worth waiting for.

Good call on Resident Evil. Any movie from that franchise will usually get me to stop.

There are sooooooo many movies I’ll stop channel surfing. Here is a small sample. A very small sample.

I always tear up at the end of Armageddon. Ben Affleck saves the planet.

This was a fun one! I thought it to be a bit hard at first but really got into it and the memories were great to recall!

Lee loves Willy Wonka, and I’ll watch just about anything that isn’t Wonka (but prefer watching The Terminator all the time): http://www.poprewind.com/when-television-takes-over/

It’s even better when the remote batteries die just as one of these come up so it forces those that would change the channel to have to put up with them as well, hahahahahahahaahah (evil laugh)

I was traveling last week so, I didn’t get a post out in time but, thought I would throw my 2 cents in here.

TV Shows – The Simpsons and Seinfeld. These reruns are ALWAYS on and so very good. They remain our standbys in our DVR when there’s a whole lot of nothing on (remind me again why I pay for 300 channels?). I would say Batman: The Animated Series but, that doesn’t air very often.

Movies – All of the Batman movies (except Batman Forever & Batman & Robin), The Rocky movies, Star Wars movies (IV, V, VI), the Indiana Jones movies, the Die Hard movies, Godfather I or II. You know, the classics 🙂
