Collecting pop culture toys, comics, and collectibles collections

New book for the Star Wars collector in the works

Battlegrip’s Philip Reed has to be the most caffeinated man on the planet. Every time I turn around, it seems like he has a new book in the works. Universe Expanded: An Unauthorized Guide to Kenner’s 1998 Star Wars Action Figures is well on its way to attaining its funding goal, but every little bit helps so head over to Kickstarter to get in on the action.

You can sign up for a free PDF download, but you should definitely pitch in a few bucks to add the book to your shelf. If you missed out on the previous books, Each Sold Separately, and Action Figures Not Included, there’a backer level which allows you to get all three books in this series. I have backed every book so far, and they are clearly written by a fan who is passionate about the items inside. Here are a couple of photos I took of the interior layouts which show how great the previous books turned out.

Personally, I hope Philip keeps chugging away because I want a whole shelf of these books!

Very cool. I backed this new book and grabbed one of the others via Amazon. Thanks for posting the photos. Will have to get the third as well. Need more books on toys.
