Well, this is a fun surprise! This Fall, Mark Hamill is going to produce and star in “Mark Hamill’s Pop Culture Quest,” a new show on Comic-Con HQ that will feature collectors and their collections. Count me in!
“I’ve been a collector all my life,” said Hamill. “This show is a natural outgrowth of that passion. Now I have an opportunity to collect other people’s collections! I can’t wait to see what’s out there and share it with the world. Collectibles are a living history of who and what we are, so we just might learn something…but there’s no doubt we’re going to have fun!”
The show will be a docu-style series featuring authentic stories about passionate fans and their collections. Production on the series will begin in June when he returns from shooting Star Wars VIII in the U.K. The series will debut on Comic-Con HQ this fall. I can’t wait to check this out!

Very cool! I had read multiple times that in his original contract, he asked for one of each merchandising item, thinking it wouldn’t amount to much. Wonder how long that was in his contract and how much he collected.

Wow! I had no idea he was a collector. Maybe you and I can convince him to visit our neck of the woods to see what we’ve got! 😉
