A shiny red bubble envelope was glistening in the mailbox today and I was excited to see what wonders it held. Fellow toy fans, check this out…
Now I know you’re supposed to use these press kits to write and promote about the show, but I got seriously jazzed about the design of the kit! This thing is fantastic all the way down to the die-cut peg hole at the top. A large part of my real-world job is spent designing pocket folders and media kits, and this is such a fun design, I had to share it.
Kudos to the creative team behind this kit, but I have to dock them a few points for calling Jordan a “figurine.” A figurine is made out of porcelain and produced in Germany–I’m sure “action figure” is what they meant. 😉
Looking at this list, we can expect some great episodes of Toy Hunter when it premieres on the Travel Channel on August 15 (9:00pm).
That’s right. Guess what I’ll be watching tonight. Sometimes it pays to have a blog.
Jordan Hembrough is one of the good guys, and I wish him the best with Toy Hunter. If the show is a hit, we can all sit back and watch the value of our toy collections multiply ten-fold. (Though it will be hard to find a bargain out there if the show succeeds. hmmm.)
