Action Figure Photography — Lost Predator from “Predator 2” by Neca Toys

I saved the best for last. Sure, the Robocop and Dutch figures are great, but the third and final Neca Toys figure I purchased last week is probably my favorite…

It’s the Lost Predator from Predator 2!

Again, these two photos are the exact same shot, but with different lighting and cropping. It’s amazing what a difference those two elements can make.

(You can see high-resolution versions of these images on my Flickr page.)

Now, I need to find a Band-Aid for the puncture wound I received while trying to put the blade in the Predator’s grasp. Those claws are sharp!

That’s a pretty awesome figure! Great photos. Can you take one with him in cloaked mode? 😉

Awesome, again! I particularly like the second photo. Really reminds me of the final fight scene between him and Dutch. Me thinks I should get into taking more realistic photos of my stuff…

Do it! I love taking photos of detailed figures like these and experimenting with the lighting and composition. I guess it’s my way of “playing” with the toys now that I’m “all growed up.” 😉

Yeah, we still play with toys, we just hide behind words like “hobby” and “collecting”.

I agree. As adults, we still playing with toys but in a more mature way than kids: we make art, stories, memories, and also philosophy or finding new ways of thinking and communicating. With toys we can have a new perspective of the world, and find creative ways to share our thoughts.
        😀

Both photos are pretty good, but the second one is simply glorious!
