The other day I showed you the Robocop action figure by Neca, and last night I snapped a few photos of another awesome action figure by Neca Toys — “Jungle Patrol Dutch” — from the 80’s classic, Predator.
Such a great figure! Here’s Dutch stalking the alien in the early morning hours… or is he?!?
Here’s the EXACT same photo with different lighting. I cropped this one differently to show more of the “dark unknown,” while Dutch walks into a pool of moonlight.
(You can see larger versions of these photos on my Flickr page.)
And in case you wanted to know how the sausage got made, here’s a snapshot of the low-tech setup I’ve been using. Due to life getting in the way, I had to move the “studio” into the storage room/workshop, but you do the best you can with what you’ve got!
For these photos, I used the woodland scenery diorama that I built a while back. I might need to build one with a bit of foliage to look more like a jungle, but for now, I think these turned out alright.

Nice photos. That is a really cool figure!

I half expected to see a Predator hiding in the dark in that wide open shot.
Great photos as always.

I haven’t cracked open the Predator figure yet. He’s next!

Great job! That Dutch figure is perfect for such dioramas! Been thinking of picking one up myself…

Thanks. That is truly high praise coming from a diorama master such as yourself!
