Yard Sale Report — Imaginext Batman Toys and more Bakugan

imaginext batman super hero collection with the batcave

Finally. I’ve been waiting for these Imaginext toys to start hitting the yard sales, and this weekend I struck the mother lode. Actually, it was just one mother selling her kid’s toys off in bulk — my kind of sale! I picked up this entire lot for $25.00 and my boys are very happy.

My kids already have most of these vehicles but the Batcave and castle were welcome additions. Imaginext toys are so great, and the playsets remind me of the Castle Greyskull and Mumm-Ra’s Tomb Fortress of my youth (though a tad less creepy!). They light up and make loud noises and there are plenty of levers and cranks that can fuel kids’ imaginations for hours.

The villains are awfully cheerful, aren’t they? The vehicles are sold in stores along with an action figure, hence all the duplicates.

Have no fear Gotham, there are plenty of Batman figures to go around.

Every boy should own this Imaginext Castle. It is too much fun!

My 6-year-old got another stash of Bakugan toys and Pokemon cards. If these things ever become hot collectibles, his college tuition is in the bag.

So, not a bad haul from the one yard sale we hit on Saturday. What cool things did you unearth this week?

I think Clayface is the only figure missing from our growing Imaginext collection. Our Target has a neat clear plastic tube display with about 15 figures all lined up in a row — a great way to show those figures.

I love that plastic tube display as well and if you can’t find that Clayface let me know and i can see about getting one for you.

Thanks JBoy. I’m sure I’ll find Clayface eventually. The hunt is on!

Excellent find! I don’t even go to the Goodwill and thrift stores for toys anymore. Maybe I should!

Okay, I just want to come to your house and play ALL DAY. Those “Castle” playsets are amazing. Brings back memories of gleefully playing with my brother’s He-Man Castle. Could CUT them for selling it at a yard sale when they were 10.

Ha! Well, I’m glad no blood was shed. I had a similar childhood experience with my Star Wars figures, but I don’t like to talk about it.

Great scores. I have been thinking about picking those Batman Imaginext figures up for my Batman collection.
