Who’s going to Retrocon this weekend in Philadelphia? If you are planning on attending and take along a camera that can take decent photos, I want to hear from you! My plan is to devote a two-page spread to the event in the premiere issue of Cool & Collected Magazine. In exchange for your photos, I can offer you my unending gratitude, full credit in the magazine, and a virtual high-five. (I’m working on a shoestring budget, sorry.)
If you think you can help me out, drop me an email. Thanks!

I will be there. I know Rose and Tony personally (the show organizers) and will be happy to snap a ton of pictures for you. Did you see the commercial I created for the show? http://youtu.be/EerhFVshvDU

That video you made is awesome, and the voices were great too!
I was hoping to make the trip for the show since I know a lot of people who will be there, and it looks like my kind of event, but the stars didn’t align as I had hoped. If you can get me some photos of the event, that would be awesome. Thanks so much!

I went! I didn’t take any photos however. It was a great event. I actually enjoyed it a million times more than Wizard World Philly. Tons of vendors, tons of costumes, and an overall great experience. I’ll definitely go back next year 🙂

I’ve heard only good things about this show. Next year I really need to make the trip!

I’ve got some pic-chas! Gonna upload them from the phones this evening and see what I’ve got but we took lots. (only about 50% are my duck-face selfies)

Excellent! It sounds like you all had a great time. I was lurking on your twitter feeds all day yesterday, wishing I was there. 😉

Sent you some pics from yesterday. I agree, it was way better than wizard world philly! Awesome vendors and a really fun atmosphere!
Brian says
Got ’em! Thanks Rich!

I’m sending you a bunch of pictures. Retro Con was even better this year, than last.
Brian says
Awesome. Thanks man!

I really only go to Wizard World Philly because I cover it as Press and I get a ton of ad revenue from ad clicks. I actually enjoyed RetroCon, smaller more friendly atmosphere. Got to meet a few Interweb buddies face to face and Larry Hama was there too! I really like to see how the show will grow in the coming years.

It sounds like the atmosphere at this show was a blast. Pencilling it in on my calendar for next year!
