Collecting pop culture toys, comics, and collectibles collections

Watch Toy Hunters on the Travel Channel this Sunday!

Toy Hunters on the Travel Channel

If you missed it the first time, you’re in luck! The pilot episode of Toy Hunters will be rebroadcast this Sunday at 6:00pm on the Travel Channel. Rob Meyer, who appears on the episode, has informed me that if the show gets good ratings, there’s a shot at it getting made into a full blown series. So to all you toy collectors out there, get on the Twitter and the Facebook, and even the Google+ and spread the word, and be sure to tune in on Sunday (even if you already saw it the first time) and let’s help make Toy Hunters a weekly show!

    Hey Guys!

Thanks for your great comments on Facebook. I truly appreciate your support of the show.

I need a favor, and I am hoping you can help. Travel Channel is really paying attention to the comments made on Facebook. In fact, its one of the main reasons that they are re-airing the show.

After the show airs this Sunday at 6pm, would you PLEASE go to Facebook and leave a comment on the Travel Channel page? It’s collectors like you, that are going to get this show on the air. We had over 300 the last time, and I want to at least see that much this time around.

It means so much to all of us at Toy Hunters, that we have an audience like you. Thanks for helping us start the TOY REVOLUTION!

I called my best buddy Scott so he and his son can watch it this weekend. Both are huge fans/collectors of Star Wars so they will love the Rocket-Firing Boba Fett. Thanks for letting us know about the reairing of this Brian.

I saw the pilot when it first aired and while the idea for the show is cool and it was great that you got to go so many places and see new figures, I think a major part of the show that seemed off was how ‘valuable’ you made the items seem and then went on to offer a low amount to the owner.

It sorta comes off you were making a killing at the owners expense. I know you have to make a profit but you can do so with a little more tact.
