I have grown increasingly weary of the Toy Hunter. The show was a bit of novelty at first but between the overly produced episodes and the unnecessary celebrity cameos … I’m done.

I’m with you on the celebrity appearances but I think that’s probably necessary to stay on a mainstream cable network. I’ve heard a lot of comments similar to yours, but any time you get to see vintage toys on TV is okay in my book, so I’ll remain a faithful viewer.

What I want to know is when the League of Extraordinary Bloggers will be back.

I know I wasn’t the most frequent contributor but you never know what you truly had until it’s gone I guess.

Soon, very soon. The League was in need of a break, but I’ll post news about it within the next week.

I watched two episodes of the first season, and checked out. Can’t stand the show. Heavily scripted, and nothing more than a scalper ripping people off.

The show is certain heavily scripted but I think Jordan tends to overpay for most of the items he buys. Sure there have been moments, especially early on, where he got himself a great deal, but i think the producers realized that was a turn-off for many viewers, and Jordan started to up his prices.

The show is such a disappointment. I have been blogging about it every since it came on. The true toy hunter is Steve Savino, Jordan is pretty face. I have met Jordan once not impressed. Very upset when he pulled the Kiss viewmaster from collector’s hand stage or not that was so wrong.

I find Jordan to be a bit annoying and I know there’s been some question as to how much of this “setup”. That said, I just watch it to see the cool toys.

I’m way more excited about the return of Comic Book Men.

Toy Hunter is definitely worth watching for the toys!

I bailed on Comic Book Men a while ago, but kind of wish i’d stuck with it, because it was pretty good. Maybe I’ll have to revisit it some day.
