Cool and Collected

Collecting pop culture toys, comics, and collectibles collections

This week’s topic from the League — First impressions

league introductions

It’s been stated publicly that I may have gotten a little lazy with the one word topics lately. Alright, enough with the softball topics, this week you’re going to have to dig a little harder to find that nugget of pop culture gold. This week’s topic for the League of Extraordinary Bloggers…

—

You never get a second chance at a first impression–what moment in pop culture had you saying “Now, that’s how you make an introduction!”

—

The League is always open to new members! Got a blog? Write a post in response to the weekly challenge, and you’ll be included. It’s that easy!

REMEMBER!:

league logoOnce you put up a post on your site add a comment below with the URL. Next Monday, I will put up a post here on Cool & Collected with a list of all the contributing blogs. Once that list is posted, if you haven’t already done so, try to incorporate at least three of your fellow League members’ links (but more would be great!) into the article you wrote on your site.

By cross-posting like this, we will help each other out by sending new readers to each other’s sites. Have fun!

(Wondering what the heck this is all about? We’re recruiting for this loose-knit, rag tag crew! Here are the details for contributing to The League.)

For some reason, the videos you posted won’t work for me.

I know which tune you’re talking about though, and I end up humming it for days on end after I hear it.

Odd that the videos didn’t work. Trying to figure out why. What browser are you using?

Some big first impressions for us were actually second impressions for others… we’re talkin’ sequels: http://www.poprewind.com/first-impressions-of-second-times-around/
