Cool and Collected

Collecting pop culture toys, comics, and collectibles collections

November 12, 2012 By 25 Comments

This week’s assignment from the League: What if…?

What if? -- the League

One of my favorite comic book series as a kid was “What if…?” where Marvel writers pondered what might have been, had a certain event never happened, or happened differently. So, this week’s challenge for the League of Extraordinary Bloggers is…

—

“What if…? — Write an alternate turn of events for a pop culture storyline.”

—

league logo Once you put up a post on your site add a comment below with the URL. Next Monday, I will put up a post here on Cool & Collected with a list of all the contributing blogs. Once that list is posted, if you haven’t already done so, try to incorporate at least three of your fellow League members’ links (but more would be great!) into the article you wrote on your site.

By cross-posting like this, we will help each other out by sending new readers to each other’s sites. Have fun!

(Wondering what the heck this is all about? We’re recruiting for this loose-knit, rag tag crew! Here are the details for joining The League.)

Check out Random Nerdness: What If George Lucas from an alternate universe had made the franchise starting from Episode 1?

Since I was the first one to post I wasn’t sure who to include at the end of the blog. So i added 3 blogs I know are part of the League that I regularly follow. Good topic this week!

There is no alternate universe in which Michael Bay isn’t ruining your childhood.

I did a different take on the “What if” scenario and look at some acting choices. For instance, what if Tom Selleck had played Indiana Jones?”
