This week’s assignment from the League: Everything’s better with Michael Bay

michael bay TMNT

The interwebs were set ablaze last week with the announcement that everyone’s favorite sewer dwellers will actually be alien life forms in Michael Bay’s new movie. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are no longer mutants? huh.

This week’s league topic:

—-

We can all agree that Michael Bay makes everything better. After he’s done with the Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles movie, what should Michael Bay blow up next?

—-

league logo

Now before you all chime in with “his house while he’s sleeping” or “his car with him in it” just think about it for a minute. Surely, there’s some movie that would be better with a few explosions and bikini-clad girls.

Once you put up a post on your site add a comment below with the URL. Next Monday, I will put up a post here on Cool & Collected with a list of all the contributing blogs. Once that list is posted, if you haven’t already done so, try to incorporate at least three of your fellow League members’ links (but more would be great!) into the article you wrote on your site.

By cross-posting like this, we will help each other out by sending new readers to each other’s sites. Have fun!

(Wondering what the heck this is all about? We’re recruiting for this loose-knit, rag tag crew! Here are the details for joining The League.)

Excellent topic. I’ve been absent the last few weeks but I’m going to try to jump in on this one.

Always glad to have Nerd Lunch represented in the League’s responses CT! Your comment reminded me that Nerd Lunch covered Michael Bay with Jeremy from Geek Chunks in the fourth chair. I might have to go listen to that one again to prepare for this week’s topic.

Yes we did. AND, the answer to your question may stem from our most recent NL episode.

But it may not. This could get interesting.

Don’t think too hard Jboy, or it won’t be an authentic Bay movie. 😉

This will be fun! Bay does an awesome job making explosions and the military look sexy, he should have done GiJoe for sure! I’ll have to think and see what else I can come up with!

I’m starting to think that we have very similar minds! (I’m sorry for you!) Hahaa! I wrote on this exact theme on November 2011! (I used the children’s book Corduroy ) http://claymationwerewolf.blogspot.com/2011/11/buttonfor-corduroy.html

I even got a comment from foodjunk who wrote the sequel for it in the comments. Wow! Just wow!

That’s an excellent example for this week’s topic! Can I borrow your way-back machine? I want to play the ponies. 😉

For those of you keeping track at home, CW gets 12 points for having a fully-developed response before the question was even asked.
