A couple of weeks back, the League of Extraordinary Bloggers wrote up their ultimate pop culture road trips. There were some excellent places mentioned, and our good friend and fellow League member, Chris Tupa, compiled the lists and made this awesome map plotting out some of his favorites. Just about everyone in the League had one of their stops featured. Google Maps ain’t got nothing on you Chris!

Kinda surprised that the Superman Museum in Metropolis, IL isn’t on here.
The Metropolis museum appeared on my list, but didn’t make it onto Chris’ map. He had to draw the line somewhere! (see what I did there?)
I think Tupa could start a profitable souvenir map side business! I love this style; I’d commission all kinds of maps if they were drawn like this.

Now we wave to do an annual League road trip! And commission Mr. Tupa to illustrate it for us! This is fantastic! I cannot give enough thanks to Chris for doing this, as it is a beautiful tribute to the most fantastic road trip we could ever hope to take! Man, I am so genuinely impressed! I can’t stop grinning when I look at all the different stops! I am running out of exclamation points? See I had to use a question mark there.

You guys are so sweet! Thank you so much for the kind words! I tried to get everyone’s destination on the map but there were quite a few in the same general area and the map started to get cluttered so I had to leave some off. It was pretty fun looking all these places up on the interent to get the address and map location.
It sure would be neat if we could get together and see some of these places as a group!
I’ve allready started planning a trip to see the Action figure museum and the Big Blue whale!
