The Resurrection of Hela poster by the Third Eye Co.

Up for bid at Heritage Auctions this week is this stellar poster from the 70’s. I have several Third Eye Marvel posters in my collection, and this one would be a great addition. You just can’t appreciate these Third Eye posters until you’ve seen them in person. The day-go colors scream at you when the lights are on, but wait until you see them under a black light.

Marvel Psychedelic Black Light Poster #4010 “The Resurrection of Hela” (The Third Eye, 1971). The eye-popping day-glo colors are nearly hallucinogenic on their own, but combined with the powerful art by John Buscema, this 33″ x 21.25″ poster is positively mesmerizing! Finding one of Marvel’s early 1970s Black Light posters in this kind of condition is almost unheard of! There are only the smallest of edge defects, and no pinholes at all. In Excellent condition.
