Four years ago, the Nerd Lunch Podcast with CT, Pax, and Jeeg was born, and in that time, has cultivated a large community of bloggers, podcasters, and pop culture fans. Whenever a new guest appears in the fourth chair, I always check them out (after they dropped their thing in the thing), and follow them on their various social media accounts. There’s a great camaraderie between those of us who create blog posts and podcasts, and the Nerd Lunch podcast is kind of a touchstone of which many of us can claim a share. I’m honored to sport the Nerd Lunch gang patch on my leather biker vest. (God, can you imagine the number of beatings if that was real? Now, I’m picturing Jeeg and Lorenzo Lamas walking into the SAMCRO clubhouse with full Nerd Lunch back tattoos. But I digress.)
I had the honor to sit in their fourth chair a couple of times, and have never missed listening to an episode, even the ones about Star Trek. In my personal life, I can count on no hands the number of friends and family members with whom I can talk at length about random nerdy things. The Nerd Lunch podcast has filled that void and has been my regular pop culture fix. I often find myself mentally contributing to their conversations — they can hear me, right? — because their topics hit me at the core, and their demeanor is so approachable?
I know that many of the readers of this site are already riding on the Nerd Lunch bandwagon, but if you haven’t checked them out, give them a listen — you won’t regret it.
CT, Pax, and Jeeg — congratulations on reaching this huge milestone — Kaplop! (Is that right? That can’t be right.) Anyway, I look forward to the next 200!

Thanks, Brian! Very nice words. We really do appreciate the support and all of the well wishers and congrats we’ve been getting since we dropped 200. It really has been overwhelming. Thanks for listening and for being a member of the 4th Chair Army. We still plan on getting you back on, my friend. Whether you like it or not.

Sadly, my podcasting microphone broke when it “fell” off my desk and somehow landed under my car’s back wheel after my last appearance. Congratulations on hitting the 200 milestone!

You honor us with the kind words and the dedicated blog post, Brian. And there does happen to be a Nerd Lunch gang patch now. I think it would look sweet on a leather jacket.
Thanks for listening and all your support over the past four years of the show. We really do appreciate it.

Sweet! Now that you’re all patched up, can I request that your first video podcast be a road trip to Sturgis 2016? 😉
Thanks for giving me something to look forward to on Tuesday mornings. You guys just keep getting better with age!
