Holy mother of all things that are awesome. For a guy like me, this is what dreams are made of…
If you ever visit my home, you need to keep your shoes on for fear of stepping on a LEGO piece, and watch those elbows, because if you’re not careful you might knock a vintage 1966 Batman collectible off its shelf. With the announcement that LEGO will release this massive Batcave from the classic TV series, I am not ashamed to admit that I squealed like a tween girl at a Harry Styles sighting. Not only will we get the Batcave and all its wonderfully labeled gadgets, we will also get to build a Batcopter, a Batcycle, and yes, the one and only, 1966 George Barris-designed Batmobile. But wait, there’s more — this set includes NINE mini figures! Unfortunately, Batgirl is missing, but I bet we’ll see her turn up as an SDCC exclusive someday.
Here’s a closer look with the LEGO designers showing off the set in all its glory:
I can not wait to adding this set to my collection. It will be available directly from LEGO in March 2015.

A little pricey for me but, what a cool set! Love the detail they put in.
How are things Brian? Haven’t heard from you in a while.

Definitely pricey — this one is going to take a bit of effort to pull off, but I think it will be worth it in the long run.
I’m good, Ben. Things have been slow here on the site lately, but fast and furious on the real life side of things. I’m always writing blog posts in my head, but finding the time to type them up has been a challenge. 😉
