I have long dreamed of starting a collection of toys featuring super heroes riding motorcycles. The sheer ridiculousness of the concept appeals to me on so many levels. They say that if you have three of something, you have a collection. By winning lot #2661 my “superheroes on motorcycles” collection would get a huge jumpstart with not one, but THREE awesome Spider-man examples.
How can you not love this beefy-looking Spider-man? AHI might have put out some cheap toys in the 70’s but I love them to no end.
Another fine toy from the good folks at Azrak-Hamway. Seriously, there can’t be very many of these drinking straw attachments out there! I’m sure most kids tore into these things, used them once and then tossed them aside.

Oh man, the God of Thunder riding a pink scooter! Did Marx know how to make toys or what? This thing is awesome on so many levels, and I want it. I want it bad. The starting bid on this guy is $600, so it will remain a holy grail for now, but a guy can dream about one day owning Thor on a pink Vespa, can’t he?

That is going to be a wonderfully quirky collection! One of my holy grails is the Gulliver Batgirl on a motorcycle. The few times I’ve seen her for auction proved that she’s WAY out of my budget though.
