Nerd Lunch Podcast episode #51 features… me!

nerd lunch podcast

Last week, I recorded my very first podcast. CT, Jeeg, and Pax were kind enough to invite me to sit in the coveted fourth chair of the Nerd Lunch podcast. It’s weird because I’ve been a huge fan of their podcast since its first episode, and I feel like I know them personally through our Twitter chats and blog comments, but this was the first opportunity I have had to actually speak with them.

I realize that appearing on a podcast probably isn’t a big deal to most folks, but to me it was terrifying. Terrifying. I had been scheduled for three weeks, which was way too much time to think about it and mentally prepare myself, and to say I was nervous would be a tremendous understatement.

Well, the damage is done and the podcast is now up for the world to enjoy (?). So, download the show and you can hear me wax poetic about the League of Extraordinary Bloggers, rip apart a beloved Sci-Fi franchise, and talk in depth about ketchup packets. What else are you going to do with that 72 minutes?

Listen to it here or on iTunes and let me know what you think!

Cool to hear you filling the 4th chair on the show. It’s fun right?

Once all the self-loathing subsides I’ll probably look back at this and think that it was fun after all. 😉

It was great having you on even if our opinions on the Trek movies differ. What’s the point of everyone having the same opinion? Makes life a little less interesting.

Hope you’ll return to occupy our fourth chair again someday.

Thanks CT, it was gut-wrenching but fun when it was over. 😉

We’ll have to get together when Tarantino reboots Star Trek with Harvey Keitel and Samuel Jackson. Now, there’s a project I could get behind.
