I’m about ready to just call this G.I. Joe week on Cool & Collected, and it’s only Tuesday. I have just been having too much fun…
Just by moving the light sources around slightly, I got some dramatically different results.
I thought it might be fun to throw a vehicle into the scene, and this old Stinger was handy.
These last three shots use the same pose and camera settings, but I turned on different colored lights, which changes the mood.
For all these photos, I’ve been using that backdrop I made a while ago, and have inserted some props and miniature Christmas lights for effect.

Thanks! I just checked out your site and am very intrigued about that styrofoam diorama. I’m going to try that etching technique of yours.

Now you need to start working with LEDs in the background!
Brian says
Hmmm, I think I might have to try that. π

I’ve been playing with some led stuff if you have any questions I may be able to help!

Ha! It certainly helps to have a good subject to photograph.
