I was never much of a fan of the original Planet of the Apes, but loved Rise Of the Planet of the Apes. Looking forward to this one. Ordered a case of the NECA figures. Looking forward to building a diorama that looks like this. I figured the horses from Toybiz Lord of the Rings would work perfectly. At least scale wise – hopefully the articulation can allow it.

That sounds awesome! I’ve been wanting to do a diorama for POTA for ages, but the Mego figures just don’t cut it, and the Tim Burton movie doesn’t count. We’ll have to compare notes. 😉

I loved Rise of the Planet of the Apes, and I’m really excited to see this new film. The Apes movie series have always been something I was really surprised I enjoyed – With the exception of Tim Burton’s dreadful mess of a movie.

I was afraid Tim Burton’s disaster would scare Hollywood off of the franchise, but I’m glad they were able to forget it. Rise of the Planet of the Apes was excellent!
