Okay, I teased you with a small photo yesterday so here are some photos that show the whole shebang.
The Masters of the Universe brand led the charge of great promotional art back in the 80’s. I joked yesterday on Twitter about how I would like to put that Eternia box art on the side of my van (if I had a van) but it would be a toss-up, becasue I think any of these would make for a pretty sweet ride!
Castle Grayskull Playset
Snake Mountain Playset
The Evil Horde’s Fright Zone Playset
Eternia Playset
Here’s a picture of what the playset looks like when it is assembled. I started to put this together last night and it looks like it might actually be complete!
These boxes are so much fun, and they take up a good bit of real estate. Check out that soda can in the lower corner of the Eternia box for a size comparison. With any luck, I’ll be able to put these together over the weekend and snap some pictures of the playsets themselves. Stay tuned…

Awesome box art that almost made me keep the packages back then. I now wish I had. They also had a line of children’s books with amazing painted covers out around the same time.

I have a few of those books!

Amazing, Brian. I’m not sure that anything has been more awesomely designed than Castle Greyskull. I mean, that place just looks BAD ASS.
I love that Eternia connects to Greyskull and Snake Mountain. I’m so envious right now.
