Tis the season to be thankful, and while it’s been a bit of a turbulent time lately, I still have plenty to be thankful for in my life. Of course I am thankful for my wife, kids, and extended family above all else, but you came here for toys and collectibles, so let us give thanks for those.
First, I am thankful for companies like Funko and NECA, who continue to give me a reason to go into toy stores and comic shops. The licensing deals these companies have in their hands is pure gold to pop culture fans everywhere. Anything they release from classic properties such as Planet of the Apes, Alien, Terminator, and Predator will always be considered as an addition to my personal collection.
Also, let us be thankful for LEGO, who keeps pushing out over-priced but amazing toys that are impossible to not love. The next wave of blind bag mini figures is comprised of popular and obscure villains from the Batman franchise, and I can not wait!
And finally, as much as I hate to admit it, I am thankful for eBay and it’s constantly changing selection of vintage Batman items that I can browse through on any given Sunday. I might hate the eBay fees that arrive every month, but honestly, I’ve never had nearly as much luck selling items anywhere else, so I guess it’s worth it in the end.

that Batman set is epic! Do you collect the full mini figure sets? I had them all up to like 11 with the exception of Mr. Gold. I sold them all the help pay for some vintage grab a while back. Wish I still had em!
I gave up on collecting the full series once it became apparent that there was no end in sight. I still pick up blind bags here and there, since there’s usually 2-3 in a series that I would really like to get, which makes the hunt worthwhile. Though I might have to bite the bullet and buy a couple of boxes of those new Batman figures.
