Yesterday was Halloween, a national holiday in my household, so I didn’t want to clog the internet with too many hoots and hollers about the fact that the Cool & Collected Magazine Kickstarter campaign achieved its funding goal, but today is no holiday so:
WOOHOOOOOOO!!!!
Sincerely, thank you, thank you, thank you. The magazine is going to happen.
This whole process has been so nerve-wracking — I’ve done my best to not click on the reload button every ten minutes to see if any new backers had signed on, wondering if we would reach the goal. Now that we have, I can breathe easier and focus on wrapping up some loose ends and preparing the publication for the advertisements, which is the last step before sending it off to be printed.
There are still six days left in the campaign, and it would be great to keep the ball rolling. The more money that is raised in this phase, the more likely that the second issue will be printed and not just a digital download. I am nothing but encouraged so far, and see no reason why we can’t get the second issue printed, but raising more cash now will help that process along greatly. So, to kick things up a notch, I have just added a “Stretch Goal” to the Kickstarter campaign:
If the funding level reaches $7,500.00, every backer who signed up to receive a copy of the magazine will also receive a free PDF download of the second issue.
Please help me spread the word just a little bit longer. I know those of you who follow me on Twitter are probably sick of hearing about this thing but I promise, only one more week. Thanks everyone!
Congrats!
I never doubted for a second that this would be a success! Congratulations Brian, can’t wait to read this puppy!
