Keeping on pace for an article per day was not realistic, but I had a good run. Now let’s see if I can catch up with a couple of posts today starting with the big man!
Vintage super hero items take up most of my collecting interest (and budget) these days, and Incredible Hulk items from the 70’s are always fun to find. While the number of Hulk items in my collection may pale in comparison to the Batman shelves, but I have managed to collect some really fun Hulk items over the years. Here are few of my favorites…
This is the only carded Mego figure I own. This particular Hulk figure is notorious for having weak pins in its knees, and many of the carded figures you’ll find will have the lower half of the figure’s leg floating around inside the bubble.
The large AJ Renzi blow mold toys always make a statement on the shelf. Most kids from the 70’s seem to have memories of swinging one of these blow-mold treat pails around on Halloween.
“Despite all my rage…” This Corgi Hulk truck is so great! I always love the silliness in pairing superheroes with vehicles, and this truck actually makes a lot more sense than say Superman on a motorcycle. Another favorite of mine is the Happy Meal toy Hulk driving around in a bulldozer.
I promised this article was going to be “incredible” and the next one I write for the Blogging from A-to-Z Challenge will be “Invincible!” Want to see a couple of sites that are keeping better pace with the month than me? Check out GI Jigsaw and Calvin’s Canadian Cave of Cool!
