Yeah, it was fragile — Â maybe next time you don’t send me the item in a Marshmallow Krispy box.

Yeah hate getting boxes not properly handled…
Some people…
But was it crushed?
Actually, it wasn’t even slightly crushed. 😀
Who in the blue blazes ships things in a snack box? Who?
I’ve been quiet publicly but I just had an autograph shipped folded in 3 and stuck to the sticky strip on the flat rate shipping box.
Ouch! I’ve actually had items stuck to the tape and sticky strips as well — that’s the worst!
Had a vintage termos shipped to me wrapped/taped/addressed in a plastic bag. Cap/cup was shattered, needless to say. That was the worst I’ve had for a while.
Worst ever was buying a MIB item and having it shipped with the address label and postage applied to the front of the toy itself.
Bet someone could start an eBay Horrors tumblr.

Man, shipping a thermos would always be a risky proposition. I certainly have a fair number of horror stories I could contribute to that tumblr! 😉
Lol that’s ridiculous. I once had a mint on card super powers batman sent in a letter sized brown envelope. Needless to say it was trashed! Ebay buyer protection wtf!
Ow, that must have been heart breaking!
It was! I just realized I put “wtf” instead of “ftw”. Two very different abbreviations. Oops, lol
Ha! I read it as FTW. 😉
I have so many horror stories of people sending items in jiffy bags when it should be a box. I ship most items in boxes. I have found good company for boxes Uline with great prices. What makes it better for me they have a warehouse only 10 miles so I can pick it up and save on ship charges.
Uline is great — one of the best places to get shipping materials at a good price. I’m always amazed at how expensive shipping materials are at most stores, whether it’s bubble wrap or boxes — I guess that’s why people resort to marshmallow krispy boxes. 😉
