So, who’s been watching Toy Hunter this season? I’ve caught every episode and the host, Jordan Hembrough, has really uncovered some gems. I especially enjoyed the episode with the Eternia playset and Buck Rogers vehicles.
If you do watch the show live, log in to Twitter and follow the hashtag #toyhunter. Jordan is usually live tweeting with the fans, which makes it a lot of fun.
Tonight’s episode features Danny Bonaduce — did they make Partridge Family toys? I guess we’ll find out!
I love that show! My favorite this season was probably last week’s. Those rare Thundercat toys were pretty sweet!
I normally recorded it and watch it the following night. I really love this show.
Hey Brian, was that PAC man game on last night’s episode similar to the one you shared recently as a new addition?
Btw, when’s Jordan visiting the Cool and Collected cave?
Close! Jordan found a Ms. Pac-Man version while I got the regular one.
A while back, Jordan actually contacted me about the show, but I really don’t have any interest in being on it. To be honest, my collection is put to shame by the people he visits every week.
Maybe he’s looking for a rare Super Powers collection? I know where he can find one of those. 😉
I’d totally host Jordan, hook it up! Lol.
I’ve had friends tell me we should be on the show, but our collection isn’t in storage, so he wouldn’t have much digging to do. It could be fun, though! We certainly have the volume. 🙂
Last night’s episode was pretty good, but I like the non-celebrity episodes better, where he’s racing toward a goal or prepping for a show.
I’d love to see your place on Toy hunter someday!
I agree that the celebrity episodes need to go away. The Gene Simmons one was not fun to watch. I think they’re trying to bring in viewers who might not be toy-fans but are fans of the celebrity. These episodes seem way too forced–I mean, what are the odds of Jordan finding the one guy with mint Partridge Family toys in less than two days, in the town he happens to be in?
I agree totally.
