Bill Leff has been collecting toys for nearly 30 years and his collection will blow your mind! If you can make it through the obnoxious Banana Splits intro sequence, you will see some amazing toys. This is the kind of collection that may look like a pretty nice collection at first, but when your eyes adjust to what you are seeing, you realize just how incredible it really is.

And all behind glass. Never to be touched or played with. Since when did toys become objects to be treated like stuff that belonged in a museum? None of my toys are behind glass. That is like just looking at a picture of them online. I hold my toys, reenact battles etc. Real art should be behind glass. Not toys.

O….M….G.
That is awesome.
So funny story – Charles Lippincott, the first publicist for Star Wars has a Facebook page and friends anyone who requests it. He puts up photos and behind the scenes artifacts of Star Wars, Blade Runner, Alien and Judge Dredd. On one of his posts, a guy mentions the Banana Splits. Turns out this dude’s dad was one of the banana splits or wrote the song, Can’t remember. I wrote him back saying the song is forever stuck in my head. He was really nice. Said that happens to a lot of people but his family is proud of their legacy.

Yeah, that song is an ear worm of the worst kind. 😉
