The US Postal Service has been taking a lot of heat lately for their “non-traditional” stamps, but if it gets us Batman stamps, I’m okay with it. Bring on an Adam West/Burt Ward tribute series next. Now those are true American heroes!

Collectors are a cranky bunch aren’t they? Holy crap, we’ll complain about ANYTHING.
The Post Office is “prostituting” stamp collecting to make money? Correct me if I’m wrong, but making money IS WHAT THEY DO. THAT’S WHAT THEY ALWAYS HAVE DONE. Stamps are not created as collectibles, they are created to make the USPS money. No one is at the USPS making stamps simply for the love of making stamps. That’s completely absurd. How holier than thou can a collector get?!
And god forbid the post office try to get new, younger blood in the stamp collecting field. The hell, stamp collecting dudes?! CHILL THE F**K OUT.
Plus, those Batman stamps look awesome. I’m thinking about going to get some.

Awesome. What brings a tear to my eye is that my team built the usps.com/store website. Of course, the health effects of that project plague me to this day.
I’ll buy the stamps though. Wicked cool!

As someone who has contracted to the government on various projects, I feel your pain. I can only imagine the amount of Tylenol and Pepto you must have consumed. 😉

I’d say this “problem” with stamps are the very least of their problems.

LOL. After every visit to the local Post office, I’m always amazed they’re still in business. A necessary evil, I guess.

If there was a perfect title for this post, you nailed it.
