I found this PBS video to be fascinating. Toys like Skylanders, Disney Infinity, and Amiibos are turning “ordinary” people into toy collectors — without them realizing it, bwahaha! Maybe the stigma of toy collecting will be lessened as a result, who knows? Anyway, I thought it was interesting…

Yes! Fink Pops are definitely being bought and displayed by “non-collectors.”
Sadly these people still qualify as gamers – which is equally frowned upon in society.
I think the stigma attached to “action figure collector” is far worse than the one attached to “gamer.” I don’t know many people who would be embarrassed to call themselves a gamer.
