I got excited when I saw this little fella on eBay because I’ve never seen one of these before. Like most vintage Batman items, this robot was licensed by the National Peridocal Publications in 1966. It looks sort of like a Nomura Batman
, but it is done in a strange, squat style. The box has a sticker for FairyLite which may indicate it’s a British toy, but I really have no clue. Either way, it’s going to bring the seller some nice coin since the current bid is over $370, and that figure will surely rise.
