Vintage James Bond Thunderball board game

Thunderball James Bond board game

Thunderball is one of my favorite James Bond movies–jetpacks, sharks, scuba fights, beautiful women–what could be better? In 1965, Milton Bradley  produced the Thunderball board game which showcases Sean Connery’s Bond in all his glory.

This game board deserves to be framed and hung on the wall.

The underwater battle is one of the greatest fight scenes in movie history, and the game’s box insert recalls the scene with this great image.

Any James Bond fan would be proud to display this game in his collection. The game is fairly common and can be had for around $30-40 in average condition, but the price can go much higher for games in better condition. There are always a bunch of these available on eBay, so go get one!

I just love the art work on the box and the game itself.

He was always my favorite too, but Daniel Craig has possibly topped him (for me at least).

Not quite as cool as my Bionic Woman boardgame … but darn close 🙂 Love the graphics!

Wow, that thing looks great. So many board games from the 1960’s had great art. I’m going to have to keep my eye out for this one. Hopefully your post doesn’t spark a bidding war on eBay!

I think you give my humble site a little too much credit. 😉
