Iconic fantasy artist Frank Frazetta passed away today at the age of 82. Frazetta painted masterful illustrations of pulp heroes such as Conan the Barbarian and John Carter of Mars, and heavy metal album covers for Molly Hatchet and Nazareth. In his youth, Frazetta worked on daily comic strips of Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon. He is a true pop culture icon and we will miss him sorely.
