Raise your hand if your mom sold your comic book collection when you went off to college. Nowadays, those same moms are selling off their kid’s video game collections.
A woman recently put up an old Nintendo system with a few games she had stored in a closet. One of those games was an extremely rare copy of “Stadium Events” in its original box and with the instruction manual. The seller was probably expecting $40-50 but ended up with a high bid of $13,105.00!
According to Nintendo collectors, the box alone is worth up to $10,000.00, and this game is one of the holy grails of that collecting universe.
