The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2) is taking place this weekend, with the highlight of the event being the Captain America: the First Avenger auction by Profiles in History.
Profiles in History’s Fong Sam, is a friend of the site and I asked him to send over a few photos of their exhibit booth for those of us not lucky enough to be in Chicago this weekend.
How great would it be to have Cap’s motorcycle sitting in your living room?
I want it all! But if I had to pick just one, it would be pretty sweet to have one of those shields hanging on the wall of the bat cave.
Fans of Syfy’s Hollywood Treasure will recognize the show’s stars, Joe Maddalena, Tracy McCall, and Brian Chanes of Profiles in History.
Joe, Tracy, Jon, Brian, and I believe the gentleman on the end is the show’s auctioneer, Stacey Roman, at a a press event.

A huge thanks to Fong for sharing his pics and giving us an insider’s view of the Captain America auction. Be sure to check out Fong’s excellent blog, and also head over to Profiles in History for more details on the auction.

Any idea what those shields were going for?
Brian says
The shields sold for around $20k each. A bargain!
