Olly Moss is blazing hot these days. As a result of his incredible art based on pop culture, he is becoming a pop culture icon himself, and he recently held an exhibit featuring hundreds of his papercuts at Gallery 1988.
Moss stripped down pop culture icons to their barest essence using a papercut technique that was most popular in the Victorian age. The juxtaposition between old and new is a whimsical, smile-inducing experience.

You can see most of the pieces from the Paper Cut show here. It’s impossible to pick a favorite, but I’m partial to this one:
Which one is your favorite? Any other Olly Moss fans out there who were lucky enough to make it to the exhibit?
Frank says
I was at this show. Lots of fun and met some really nice people.

So jealous. I hope you were able to get one of the paper cuts if you wanted one. I imagine they might have been pricey.
