LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar 2011

It’s December 1, and you know what that means… it’s LEGO advent calendar time! This year, LEGO has the traditional City version, but they also introduced their first Star Wars themed calendar. And you know, nothing says Christmas like Star Wars!

Here’s the outside of the box. It looks like all kinds of minifigs and mini-ships will be unveiled this month.

There are 25 punchout areas, with a LEGO surprise behind each door, just like Jesus intended.

Behind door number one was this cute little spaceship. If you buy this kit and keep it MIB, you are a scrooge. Open it up and have fun!

Also behind the first door was this little paper insert. I can’t wait to get the Yoda Santa!

These LEGO advent calendars have become a tradition in our family. I remember getting calendars with stale chocolate behind the doors when I was little. Kids these days really don’t know how good they have it.

    SOOO glad you posted this!

Bought one of these for my daughter a while back and stashed it in the trunk of the car, if not for this I would have forgot to bust it out today!

I’ve been getting these for the last 4 years. I went with the City Advent Calendar this time as most of my collection comes from the Police sub theme.

Does anyone know where that red ship is from? I am guessing it is from prequel trilogy but would love to get more info for the kids!

I was wondering the same thing! I found this site which identifies it as the Republic Cruiser: http://bettyedit.blogspot.com/2011/12/lego-star-wars-advent-calendar-day-i.html
