LEGO has had their vacuum hose firmly planted in my wallet for a while, but this upcoming haunted house set is truly amazing.
LEGO, you had me at Zombie Chef.

It’s amazing how much this has lit up the internets since it was announced last week. Not that it isn’t totally justified!
It’s totally justified. These monster sets seem to be getting even more recognition than the super hero lines. Definitely more than the Lord of the Rings sets.
Speaking as a huge AFOL, I picked up a few of the Marvel LEGO sets when they first showed up. Who doesn’t want an officially licensed Captain America minifig? I was very excited about the LotR license, but was disappointed how its impossible to obtain the entire Fellowship without having to buy EVERY set.
And then … there were the Monster Fighters. A very solid entry into Lego’s original adventure themes over the past couple of years. But yes, I’m laying the groundwork to justify the Haunted House with my wife, “Honey the kids will love having it for Halloween!”
um…did he fart at 1:31?
Great concept!
