Lego Brick Fair 2008

I had the pleasure of attending the Lego Brick Fair 2008 event today along with what seemed like every other parent within a hundred miles. The event was packed with kids and their dads who seemed pretty excited to be there, and their moms who were looking for the nearest exit. I had no idea how many closet Lego fanatics live around here. It was great!

There were loads of creative creations on display, along with many motorized and robotic contraptions. An entire room was devoted to a perpetual motion ball machine. There were plenty of vendors selling custom parts (brickarms was my favorite) along with current and vintage Lego sets. I really felt like a kid again. Consider me an AFOL (Adult Fan of Legos).
