Profiles in History is selling all kinds of goodness in an auction beginning this Thursday and running through Saturday. There are more than 1,500 lots up for bid that include items any pop culture collector would dream of owning. Do you want Michael Keaton’s original Batman costume? John Robinson’s laser rifle from Lost in Space? KITT’s license plate from Knight Rider? Check, check, and check.
Here are some of my favorite items:
Lot 735. Dean Cain “Superman” costume from Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Lot 752. The Orville Goldner Production Art Archive and Biplane Filming miniature from King Kong. (This is truly my favorite lot of the auction. There is a whole set of drawings and props from the original King Kong movie included in this lot.)
Lot 894. “Darth Vader” Lightsaber from Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi.
921. The Holy Grail from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
The third day of the auction is devoted to Star Trek props. See all the lots available here: http://www.liveauctioneers.com/auctioneer/profiles-in-history
