The latest catalog from Hake’s arrived in my mailbox last week, which made for some excellent weekend reading. Hake’s Auction #204 is going on now, and you can bid online until November 8-10.
Hake’s catalogs are bursting with information for the pop culture collector. No matter what you collect, Hake’s has something that will blow your mind. Their catalogs are more informative than any book you can buy, and you never know what you might find among those 400+ pages. I have a few of these catalogs and constantly find myself pulling them off the shelf to use as a reference.
There are over 3,200 items up for bid in the current auction. Not only is the Great Garloo in auction #204, there are also the original blueprint drawings for Marx Toys’ Big Loo!
The auction covers everything from comic books, original art, toys, pinbacks, advertising items–and the list goes on. You can view the entire auction online but my advice would be to order the catalog (it’s FREE!) so you can revisit it again and again.
