While browsing the cereal aisle, looking for my daily dose of fiber, I couldn’t help but notice this DC Comics promotion on several of the General Mills’ boxes. A free comic book is inside! I love free stuff, and I was going to buy Honey Nut Cheerios anyway, so it was a win-win proposition.
Not only is there a free comic book inside, but there’s also a Batman mask on the back that kids can cut out and wear!
The comic is not a full size comic, measuring in at around seven inches tall.
I was happy to see that the comic was actually a “real” comic with a storyline that wasn’t a clever disguise to sell more cereal.
Kudos to General Mills and DC comics for making breakfast a little more action packed!

Interesting that, since these are new, they aren’t using the new “official” look of the DCU. Superman is still in his old costume.
Oh, come on, do you really think those new costumes are going to stick? 😉

Not sure, but I would think this promotion would be around for a at least another month or two. It just started not too long ago. Good luck with the hunt!
