Flea Man — New flea market show debuts on Friday!

The National Geographic Channel is airing a new show this Friday night at 8:00pm that looks perfect for anyone who likes to go thrifting and hit the flea markets and yard sales (hey, that’s me!). Flea Man follows Jimmy Kaplow on his trips to flea markets and into people’s homes, where he offers them advice on what some of their treasures are worth.

From the few clips available on the site, I know I’ll be an instant fan. I can’t wait for this one!

I love American Pickers and Hollywood Treasure but this show looks more like how I spend my Saturdays. I’m looking forward to checking it out.

I’ve fallen in love with American Pickers and Auction Hunters. I’m darn jealous, too. They find some awesome stuff. Wow, I remember watching Batman episodes in that big plastic helmet/mask. Man, if that’s worth a lot of money I’ll die!

I really enjoyed the show. I think The host, Jimmy Kaplow, and I could definitely enjoy a beer together. Next week’s episode is going to be about a guy who has a ton of vintage toys, so you know I’ll be tuning in for that one.

You can see some clips on the National Geographic Channel’s web site.

I finally saw the first 4 episodes today. He was in my neck of the woods with the long beach and rose bowl flea markets. If your out here in LA you’ve got to go to these 2 flea markets.

Getting to the Rose Bowl flea market is on my bucket list. Some day!

What did you think of the show? I really got into the third episode with the guy who had all those vintage toys for sale. His basement looked eerily familiar to someone I know [ahem].

What’s the design on the back of your clothes? Is it your logo?
