Cool & Collected’s Mega Sale

EVERYTHING MUST GO!!! LAST CHANCE!!!

Alright, enough shouting, check this out…

fire sale!

I am appalled to admit that this is my basement storage room. See that weight machine in the middle there? I want to use it again, but in order to do that, I need to move out a LOT of yard sale and auction finds. I will be listing a bunch of items in the coming days that I want to sell–the prices will be VERY good. Rather than going the FeeBay route, I’d rather sell these toys to friends of the site.

Here’s what I have in mind… I will post a photo of an item or a bunch of items, and have a starting price that I would be fine with getting, say $10. The first person who comments and says he’ll take it for $10 (plus shipping) will get it. If you want to pay less for it than I suggested, just add a comment with the amount and I will consider it. I WILL CONSIDER ALL OFFERS — I want to get rid of this stuff!

Here’s the first batch of toys.

fire sale toy lot

TOY LOT #1: A random batch of action figures and toys. $10 for the lot or less (plus shipping)! Add a comment below if you want it!

And here’s something for the G.I. Joe fans out there…

GI Joe toys

TOY LOT #2: Random assortment of G.I. Joe figures, many with missing hands or legs. Sigma 6 Snake Eyes still in the box, but the top portion of the box is missing. $10 for the lot or less (plus shipping)! Add a comment below if you want it! SOLD!

And one more…

G.I. Joe headquarters

Toy Lot #3: G.I. Joe Headquarters from 1983.  $40 for the lot or less (plus shipping)! Add a comment below if you want it! Sold!

I have no idea if this is going to work, but it’s worth a shot! I’ll stop taking offers on 11/14/12. Thanks!

And THIS is one of the reasons that it sucks being in Mexico. I would love to own most of those.

I’d be fine with $20, but will let it ride until Wednesday. If no one else chimes in with a higher offer, it’s yours. Thanks!

If I could pick and choose a few select pieces from lots 1 & 7 I might make an offer. Are you willing to break up any of the random lots?

      Not yet! 😉

Hold that thought though. If these lots don’t sell, I’ll be glad to let you cherry pick from them.

For a second there I thought the headline said “Mego” Sale. I need to get back into doing this myself. I am continuing to strive and have only the cream of crop in my collection.

It really is amazing how fast this stuff piles up! As time goes by, my collecting focus becomes much narrower (and more expensive!). In addition to these “mega sales” I’ve actually sold off some items I never thought I would.
You will not be seeing me on Collection Intervention. 😉
