Over the weekend, I was looking through some old family photo albums and came across this picture:
My uncle is sitting in front of the tree playing with a new toy robot Santa brought him. I think this is a Robert the Robot from Ideal, but if it’s a rare Japanese import, worth tens of thousands of dollars, I would be more than happy to pass along that info to my dear old uncle. Any robot experts out there? Here’s a close-up:

think I remember this well. Had a lot of fun with that robot , sure wish i had it now. If we only knew then what we know now.
